Greenville County Recreation District Summer Camp

Dates: June 13 – August 5 (Closed July 4th)
Daily Time: 7:30am -6:00pm    (Bell’s Crossing will close at 5:30pm)
Ages: Boys & Girls 6-11  
Grades: entering 1st thru 6th
Cost:  $30 Registration fee due at sign up.
$70 per week ($84 out-of-district) @ East Riverside, Northside, Bell’s Crossing
$77 per week ($92 out-of-district) @ Pavilion
  
This traditional summer day camp is well into its third decade of serving the families of Greenville County. A typical week for our campers will see them: swim, play games, complete arts & crafts projects, and take a field trip. Some of our field trips will include: Discovery Island Water Park, Otter Creek Water Park, 7th Inning Splash Water Park, Greenville Drive baseball game, and Gattitown.

Camp Woodmont

Ages: Boys & Girls 6-11  
Grades: entering 1st thru 6th
Cost: $225 for 8 weeks: Paid in full at time of Registration ($270 out-of-district)

Camp Woodmont is now in its 5th year serving the families of southern Greenville. A typical week for our campers will see them: swim, play games, complete arts & crafts projects, and take a field trip. Some of our field trips will include: Discovery Island Water Park, Pavilion for Ice Skating and Bounce House, and Gattitown. Lunch is provided.

Camp Cougar

Daily Time: 7:30am -6:00pm
Ages: Boys & Girls 6-11  
Grades: entering 1st thru 6th

$80 for one week session ($96 out-of-district)

Camp Cougar is the day camp for a child who wants traditional summer camp with some BIG field trips, too. Our campers will have the sports, games, and arts & crafts, as well as weekly local field trips. Also featured are 3 BIG field trips during the summer. Last summer Camp Cougar visited: Lake Lanier Water Park, Carowinds, as well as a trip to Stone Mountain, GA. The camp will visit Discovery Island Water Park each Friday.

Wanderers Teen Camp

Dates: June 13 – August 5 (Closed July 4th)
Daily Time: 7:30am -6:00pm
Ages: Boys & Girls 12-14  
Grades: entering 7th-9th
Costs: $30 Registration fee due at sign up.
$85 for one week session ($102 out-of-district)

Wanderers Teen Camp is a great place for kids who enjoy making friends and want lots of activity. Last summer saw the Wanderers: produce their own talent show, visit local soup kitchens weekly, swim once a week, and have a video game tournament. The campers also have weekly local field trips as well as 4 big field trips. The big trips were to: Six Flags, Lake Lanier Water Park, Carowinds, and White Water Rafting at the National White Water Center in Charlotte, NC.
