Get ready to hoot and hollar at the PigTucky Derby! Our pigs will be running for the finish line, but they’re only part of the fun! Join the pre-race dance party in the infield — a few lucky audience members will even get pig nose and become part of the show!

FALL FESTIVAL UPDATE
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there was not a fall festival at Fishers Orchard in October 2020, and we do not intend to hold a festival in 2021. We encourage you to visit our retail locations, and hope to see you soon. (Not to worry, Fisher's. Thanks for the update for all)
May-Lan Tree Plantation No longer has Fall Festival but opens at noon on Thanksgiving for Christmas trees.

Grandad’s has several family fun activities to enjoy on the WEEKENDS, beginning Labor Day weekend, throughout the fall.

Visit Grandad’s for the day and enjoy a variety of family fun activities on a 100-acre family farm and apple orchard located in Hendersonville NC near Asheville. Select pre-picked apples fresh off the trees daily from our bins. In Grandad’s pumpkin patch you will find pumpkins and jack o’lanterns in every size and shape. At Grandad’s Barn and Country Store, you will find a great selection of fall harvest decorations, apple peelers, apple bakers, and other apple gifts. Come by our bakery where we have hot cider donuts all day along with apple pies, cookies, hot cider, apple cider slushies, and many other apple goodies to eat!
