More Info

Why is the SC State Fair adopting a Clear Bag Policy?

Fairgoer safety has always been our number one priority. Each year, in an effort to improve public safety, all policies and procedures are evaluated. This measure will enhance safety both inside and outside of the SC State Fair.

Are there any exceptions for medically necessary items or diaper bags?

Exceptions are typically granted for medically necessary items or diaper bags after proper inspection.

Parking

Where can I drop someone off and leave?

We recommend you drop pedestrians off at the North Gate,  1200 Rosewood Drive, across from Seawell’s.

$5 Parking*

$5 per vehicle, cash or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). No returns.

*SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16ONLY, parking is offered for $20. No returns. This is the date of the UofSC vs. Vanderbilt football game.

Enter through Gate 6 (901 George Rogers Blvd.) or Gate 10 (Bluff Rd).

Parking entrances may close when the lot is full.

All proceeds from parking go to help S.C. students through our scholarship program.

Handicap Parking

Handicap parking is $5 per vehicle ($20 on Sat., Oct. 16) and is available at Gate 6, along with general parking. Handicap parking will only be given to cars with an official handicap license or placard. There is also a place for dropping off near Gate 6.

Buses - Senior Groups

We can’t wait to see our senior friends at the South Carolina State Fair! For an easy drop off, buses can stop at the North Gate on Rosewood Drive just past Gate 1 (close to the rocket). Although buses aren’t permitted to park in this area, drivers can pull up to the gate for an easy dismount for our senior friends.
