Children’s Activities
Rides, Inflatables, and more will await you and your family in the Family Fun Zone, sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank! There are two locations — Wells Fargo Bank and the Visitor’s Center. Come see what all the fuss is about and here’s a warning, your kids might not want to leave.
Palmetto Amusements will again be providing the children’s rides and inflatables. Tickets are available for purchase onsite.
Hours of Operation are:
Friday Noon to 9:00
Saturday & Sunday 10am-9pm
Monday from 10am-4pm
The Children’s Area is located at the southern end of the festival in the Wells Fargo Bank parking lot as well as the Visitors Center parking lot.
Where is the Food Court?
The food court is located at the southern end of the festival on Main Street in front of Wells Fargo Bank.
Where can I park?
.There are multiple parking lots throughout downtown Hendersonville that surrounds the Festival including free and fee-based parking. Many parking lots are operated by local non-profits and charge a nominal fee for parking. The North Carolina Apple Festival does not control these parking lots or their fees.
Hours of the festival?
.The Street Fair along Main Street runs from 10 am-8 pm Friday-Sunday and on Monday the mini-street fair runs from 10 am- until the parade ends. Entertainment runs Friday-Sunday from Noon to 8 pm. Food court and children’s area also runs into the late evening.
What time is the parade?
.The King Apple Parade starts at 2:30 pm on Labor Day Monday, rain or shine.

Saturday is a happening and busy day at the North Carolina Apple Festival with the street fair, the live entertainment begins at Noon, the multiple special events occurring throughout Henderson County and of course the fried apple pies! The street fair will run from 10 am- 8 pm while the entertainment, children’s area, and food court will run until 8 pm. Please the entertainment schedule and event schedule for all the happenings.

Apple Festival Road Races presented by Hunter Subaru

Keep the tradition of the Apple Festival Races going from wherever you are with the Hunter Subaru Apple Festival Races. This event has something for runners of every level with an individual 8k, team 5k, and Chick-fil-A Mini Moo Mile. The 8K follows a certified course, winding through scenic Hendersonville and Laurel Park, starting and ending at the Pardee UNC Health Cancer Center at 805 6th Ave. West in Hendersonville. There are both individual and team races.
