In the spirit of Smithsonian Museums, who offer free admission everyday, Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine in which participating museums across the country open their doors to anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket… for free.
The Greenville participating locations include Upcountry History Museum and The Children's Museum of the Upstate. Please visit here and scroll down to click on the museum you wish to visit and then register to print out your free ticket or to download it on your smart phone to show at the admission counter. Once you create an account you need to go to Request Tickets. Choose the state and use the menu to select which museum you plan to visit. Once you select you can download the ticket to print or show on your smart phone.
