Youth Capture the Colorful Cosmos Exhibition
Oct. 28 – Nov 22
In collaboration with the Smithsonian & Harvard.  Amazing temporary astrophotography by students from Penny Fischer Middle School and Sterling Middle School.  Limited hours, see website for details. Included with daily admission $9 child; $10 adults. Members free. 

Open Art Studios: Felt Family Tree
Weekdays from 1:00-4:00pm; Weekends from 2:00-4:00pm
This supervised arts & crafts session allows all ages to use their imaginations and our materials. Featured craft is a felt family tree that is designed to show how grateful we are for our families.  

First & Future Artists of Space
Nov 1-23, check website for exhibit hours
An exhibition in collaboration with the Smithsonian and Harvard featuring astrophotography by local middle school students and original works of art on loan from the T.L. Norris Gallery by famed NASA Illustrator Renato Moncini, also known as the First Artist of Space. 

Early Childhood: Pasta Necklaces
Nov. 25 - 29 @ 10 am, 11am and 1pm
Ages 5 & under learn about the Native Americans who were invited to the first Thanksgiving feast and celebrate the holiday by making colored pasta necklaces. Located in the Get up and Grow room. Free with paid admission ($9 child; $10 adult).

What’s Cookin’ Kitchen: Homemade Cornbread
Saturday, Nov. 22 @ 1pm & 3pm, Sunday, Nov. 23 @ 1pm & 3pm
Cornbread has been on America’s dinner table since the very first Thanksgiving.  Learn how to make this popular dish in our What’s Cookin Kitchen.  Recommended for ages 5 and older. Free with paid admission. Limited to 12 participants per session, please register at the door.
